Bank of Scotland to pull 49 SVR products

Bank of Scotland will pull 49 standard variable rate (SVR) products with effect from tomorrow (Saturday 5 July) as it makes changes to its mainstream, large loan, self-cert and buy-to-let (BTL) ranges.

In a note to brokers, the lender states: "With effect from Saturday 5 July Bank of Scotland will be making changes to its mainstream, large loan, self-cert and buy-to-let product ranges.

"In addition, with effect from Saturday 5 July, we will no longer accept new mortgage applications on Bank of Scotland standard variable rate."

The lender goes on to clarify that all applications must be received by 5pm today (4 July) if the intermediary wishes to secure the rate on the current product range.

Full information on new rates available will be placed on Bank of Scotland's intermediary website from tomorrow (Saturday 5 July).
