NS&I is usually dynamic and transparent in its dealings with investors, but for reasons which are not clear, one silo is running the risk of damaging the reputation of the entire organisation.

It seems as if for reasons best known to themselves the Newcastle unit, or at least one part of it, is asleep on the job.

Maybe the chief executive or one of her senior managers should spend sometime up there sorting them out.
