F&C names new product development chief

F&C Investments has appointed of Frank Henze as head of product development.

Henze joins from Barclays Global Investors where he held the same role for iShares Europe, the group's exchange traded funds (ETFs) division.

His experience also includes working as director of business planning, analysis and strategy at Charles Schwab Europe before moving to BGI in 2003, where he oversaw the launch of 50 Dublin UCITS iShares ETF's and over 400 European exchange listings.

At F&C, Henze will report to head of product management and client solutions Allegra van Hovell

Van Hovell said: "Having substantially upgraded our product suite in 2007, we are determined to continue to develop new products which meet the needs of our clients in fast-changing markets.

"We are delighted to welcome Frank to F&C, where he will play an important role in ensuring that F&C remains at the forefront of developing new client driven products. "
