Jon Farley, formerly regional sales and service director at its premier banking division at Barclays, will join C&G on 7 July. He succeeds John Champion, who left C&G in September 2007.

Farley will assume responsibility for growing and developing C&G’s intermediary proposition in the market place.

Joy Griffiths, managing director at C&G said: "Jon will be a strong addition to our leadership team. He has extensive experience of sales and relationship management in a number of industry sectors and will play a key role in ensuring that we continue to grow our intermediary business."
